If any one sees CARD project still we have to depend on agents to get it our work and its pet project of present CEO of NISG. Why he failed to bring online registration?

E-gov is holistic approach and needs support of staff and concerned depts. Many people
questioned when top people accepting bribes why you are curtailing their bribes. It requires strong will power to implement. Its unfortunate that till today we dont have error free data in AP which so hyped e-Gov state. Every new govt place PO on vendors and get back with error data because of corruption.I have been told to Govt to take help of election commission data which is latest and cost effective but officers wont lose their revenues.

Hope to realise the true motives behind our postings in good spirit and always with us.

Respectfully yours,

Projectization of IT has not happened and IT Project management lacks vision and mission for implementation.

This forum is not for self help and accusing each other,
but for a truthfull discussion on how to take india fiurther by means of
good e-governance staregy, mission and vision. We are good planners and critics.
We should realise that we are poor implementors of projects.
sorry to say that even Projectization of IT has not happened and IT Project management
lacks vision and mission for implementation. We are transiting from ..
automation-->e-government-->e-governance-->Good Governqance and transition management
is more difficult task to conceptualize, visualize and strategise and implement
without cost and time overrun. The order in which it is stated is immeterial,
but sum and substance, all the things are to be tackled. Systems should be scalable,
and meet the demand of security, integrity and accoutability and transperancy in
operations as per the needs of the application and the environment.
The systems are to be interoperable. Looking these matters, a high end reviews of the
ongoing projects and we should learn the lessons from them.
This is not the time for accusing each other as typical to Indian mentality,
but work for national development.
Thanks

We also need to highlight the wrong moves, if any by any Government.

Dear Mr.Kumaraswamy,

Yes. We are for true e-gov execution.
Our role is to encourage the Governments and e-gov champions to adopt
process driven e-governance.
We also need to highlight the wrong moves, if any by any Government.
This is an unpleasant job. Nevertheless it has to be done.
